  • The official line is that the coffeeshops in the south of Holland will close their doors to ALL persons who are not of Dutch nationality or official residents of the Netherlands. This law will come into play for Amsterdam and the rest of the country by 1.1.13. Pls. support us on FB- Amsterdam Smoke-In Protest. Save our coffeeshop culture. it is about our freedom being eroded away.

  • @oracle945 This is great information. I appreciate you sharing your comment and supporting the Amsterdam Smoke-In Protest on 420. We are with you 100%. Stay in touch my friend.

  • How old do you have to be just to sit in the coffe shop, And not smoke ??

  • @Alboroize You must be 18 to enter a coffeeshop even if you do not smoke. Coffeeshops face serious penalties and possible closure if they break any rule so they make sure that only 18 and above are in the shop.

  • is identfcation required when going into the coffee shops?

  • @Tom1Butler Yes it is.

  • @kylej510 It is 18 my friend. Enjoy your trip.

  • @Thulldorn There has been a lot going on along with a lot of propoganda. Amsterdam coffeeshops welcome tourists. There is no tourist ban. Enjoy a trip to amazing Amsterdam.

  • Seriously, the Dutch politicians could try to keep the Dutch difference alive. By ending this small freedom, they put the Dutch alongside the Belgium and who the heck wants to visit Brussels in mid february...nobody. Simple! In otherwords after 1-1-2013 Amsterdam and the rest of Holland will need to Create a new tourism based on.......tulips?.......beer (not good enougj, not Dublin!.... Oh yes, no more tourists no clothes shops sales, no restaurants full for lunch and dinners, nada just pre 197

  • If the law is a reality...Amsterdam will become a zero tourism city. Why bother to go? For Heineken beer ? No way ! Again...politicians forget how to keep tjings working ... Well
