good points from both sides...i think that the arguement missing from miltons side is that the reason that people were "tricked" into thinking that a labor union is necessary is that Gov. one supported the very corporations being portrayed as evil and struck down workers rights groups early on this supporting of industry led to monopoly and then enabled mistreatment, by eliminating competition that could potentially compete in terms of product as well as workers(this being the main point)

Milton Friedmon's last comments & demeanor are dead on. He refutes his advisory with the up most respect and further challenges his idealogy by simply asking to provide data that supports his claim. This is how an intellectual debates. He doesn't slander or raise his voice. Take note Demecrates and Republicans (except Ron Paul, one of the few patriots in Government).

This is how the Presedential elections should of occured.

I wish I could go back in time and tell them their unions were driving their industries into insolvency... Could have saved some jobs.

You can't. Our PUBLIC EDUCATION has continously dumb downed the masses. We care more about American Idol than economics, physics, or education.

We don't read books in the afternoon. We watch Survivor.

In addition, we're lied by the media about lies on what the free market is.

I'm a big fan of Thomas Sowell.

He knows what he's talking about, and many people who have actually worked in a real job with a mind will agree with his analysis I'm sure.

It requires people to take an interest in the world they live in, and unfortunately nobody seems to care. They would rather have someone blow smoke up their ass and promise them presents than have to think for themselves.
