Chicago Botanic Garden Swans and Cygnets Update

Everyday (weather permitting) Cindy and I take a 2.5 mile walk in The Chicago Botanic Garden in Northbrook, IL. We have been keeping track of the swans there because they are the most majestic birds. This video shows the pair that had 3 successful births of Cygnets on June 2 2009. On August 19 we see the obvious growth that has occurred in these baby swans. In a month they will be separated from their parents and taken to a swan preserve in Iowa. The other pair of swans at the garden unfortunately had their nest drown during a torrential rain storm and were in mourning for over a month.
