I fish with a rod too for bass, trout, walleye, you name it. But for carp I like bowfishing. Have you ever tried fishing with a bow?

We use the AMS Retriever Pro. It is the easiest and most reliable one that I have used so far.

@F1SHingGuRu awesome job killing some of those carp man, hey about how much does it cost to get into bow fishing? looks like a lot of fun.

Mother fuck !!!!!! fishing fuck !!
-
@oi86 actually they do because they eat all the algae and shit that which harms the small fish and crawdads that eat that leaving less of them for bass, trout, pan fish to eat. Also, they multiply like crazy and once they get in they outnumber other fish at least 5 to 1.

Ive always wondered, where do you aim? with the refraction of the water do you aim hi, low?

@muskyfan
When you look at the fish under the water, you have to aim lower than the fish in order to hit it. How far down you have to aim involves two factors. One is how deep the fish is under the water vertically and the other is how far the fish is away from you horizontally. You can aim directly on a fish that is very deep but right underneath you as well as aim straight on a fish that is at the surface of the water but far away from you. Anywhere in between you will aim below the fish.
