@livingwarmachine- Your comments are extremely disrespectful. Military wives are the backbone and support of any good soldier or Marine. There is so much more that goes into being a military wife than taking care of a baby or going to college online. We never claim to be heroes, and I'm sure most wives would agree- our husbands are the true heroes. Don't make assumptions when you clearly are not married, and if you are- god help your poor wife.

You think holding together a home, alone, without knowing if you will ever see your husband again is easy? You try living without seeing or speaking to your best friend and the most important person in your life for months, sometimes years at a time. I am proud to be an Army wife and I am anxiously awaiting my husbands return from Afghanistan some time next year. And yes, they won't even tell us when his tour is over.

LivingWar- I understand what ur saying, alot of young woman do use military men but , there are good woman that have husbands that do thier job as being a wife of a military man, is very hard, nobody is complaining but we do have a reason for being calld army wives cus we do our part while our partner does theres, if u got fucked over, get over it, its ur life, not anyone elses,

and i agree, we are not heroes, but if it wasnt for us, what else would be keeping the kids together, not the soldier, We deal with so much stress everday , with the field, the staff dutys, details, ALOT, no civilian Would understand so i dont expect them to, Thts why military wives should always stick together, for eachother while our husbands are away <3 -brandi

this really sickens me that just bc u have a bad experience w/1 girl got to down every military girl and do these men that think we dont do anything let me actually do nothing & u can do what i do everyday while my husband is way im not saying my job is harder than his but u know what i dont just sit on my butt everyday eating bonbons i go to work in the heat raise a lil boy who ask about daddy all day so shut it til u know what its like my hubby even told me he couldnt do what i do w/him gone
