Heard it so many times before-I feel like she has me cornered me at a party and I have to fake having to use the bathroom to get away. She comes across as the polar opposite of a feminist in Paradoxia--living off men one way or another, competing with women for the sexual favors of men-basically a groupie mentality.

Oh yeah, I forgot how absolutely brainwashed Austrailians are. They aren't even native. Lydia win, crowd FAIL.

Lydia is super intelligent, this audience is a complete mob of idiots. But I think It's also civilization in general.

She's telling the truth.

There is a large element of truth to her speech; there is a power imbalance in traditional Western society. However, I think it is not entirely as simplistic as male against female or father against child. The problem, I feel, lies in the ideological underpinnings of "traditional" Western society (Europe in the past milllenia or so), which she is correct are partially an outgrowth of conditions during the Bronze Age.

@friskyjackdoff why is that just because she is way outspoken and like to talk about things that most people dare not talk about.
