@TonyHanin Actually 300 is more true than not. of coarse the spartens had a collition army of some 1,500 men or so the number of spartans was somewhere around 300. also a similer battle was being waged at sea with the same situation outmaned and out numbered a greek general repelled the persians by sea while the spartans and their collition army held the pass.
