This is from my master's recital at Cleveland State University's Drinko Hall on November 5, 2010. Don't mind the snare drum that was not turned off :)

  • Good job on letting those harmonic chords ring for a bit! Way too many people cut them short! I did this for my exam (Norwegian equivalent of High School-ish) two years ago, and guess what, it went alright! :P I didn't do the final harmonic like Jaco either, it is ridiculous!

The only thing missing for me was a bit more flow, but this was top-notch so criticising it is really not necessary, the main thing with this piece is to take your time with the harmonics, and you most definitely did!

  • Very nice. I was holding my breath for the impossible final chord when I saw you go a different direction. I have never seen or heard anyone ever truly nail that final harmonic. Great job on this classic. Many props. :)
