  • excellent reflexes everyone... but i think that the server in 0:12 should have gone to take the net, instead, he goes back, and as he thinks the ball goes deep taking his angle and view of the court, and i also think that when you approach to the net at 0:14 you gave away to much court for a lob ... overall i think you are great doubles players :D

  • @SPDG3 ohhh good analysis

  • hmm. maybe, but it would have to be a drive, but I see what you're saying. Hit it in the alley, dip it, but it would have to have heat on it. It's a tough shot, but hmm... the problem is everyone is trained to hit it crosscourt--and the dude's best shot is his inside out forehand so he went with his shot. and he hit a rock, dude. I got lucky to pick it up--it was fast, it was low, and it was a heavy ball so I give you that one. He could have gone line, but he went with his shot.

  • every swing you make can lead to a mistake, If he would hit an easy topspin down the line forehand he would have a clean winner with high net clearance.

  • No it's not. A change in angle can lead to a mistake, the down the line is over the highest part of the net (it's 6 inches higher than the middle), and the down the line is a shorter distance than a crosscourt by about 4.5 feet. and if my partner got it, he would have hit it between them for a winner, the crosscourt was the right shot. it was a killer shot, it took my mad skillz to get it back--you see how low it was and how hard?

  • 0:51, the guy should just have hit it down the line past the guy in the white shirt, it's an easy and very effective shot here.

  • yeah its alwayse a good idea to attack the one on the run. when i play doubles i try to do a two step where i put someone on the run or force a weak return for either myself or my partner.

a double net formation is good for the offence but if you have slow poeple its not good to play a long point like that.
