Sure elitism should be a prized title, But not in politics right now. Obama is a wannabe elitist, who denotes him as an elitist anyway? He's not the best, or even remotely close.

@lightintheireyes Actually it does in most cases, someone having a special skill and a right mindset that others may not have that which qualifies that person to be in that position of power and authority in the first place is the very definition of that word.

@GTCism There are some people who should be in positions of power,authority and influence not just anyone,because when the right people are in charge things work well as opposed to just any john doe because he's "one of us" inequality is a fact of life as well it should be and no proper functioning society can exist without it.Some people are born with certain talents and have the wisdom that others don't have which makes them qualified to hold any area of power so that's why elitism is needed.

Geniuses often have very specialized knowledge.
Instead of a pure geniocracy it should be run specifically by those who understand political science based on who passes through specially administered academies.
We should "democracy" as a branch of government to counteract bias(since all humans have bias), but not allow anything to pass just through democracy, requiring the political scientists to approve of it.
We could add other groups too, such as an economists board.
