In an October 25th broadcast of ABC's This Week With George Stephanopoulos, well-respected conservative columnist George Will noted that "80 percent of the Mexican cartels' revenue is from marijuana. If you really want to go after the Mexican cartels -- and I'm not saying that's the only criteria for public policy -- you'd legalize marijuana."

  • and yet here we are almost 2 years later with it still as a schedule I drug, along with the most harmful, deadly drugs that have no medicinal value.

  • Regulating the marijuana market is not permissive. What we have now is as permissive as it gets. Violent drug cartels allowed to exploit the market for profts. Meth dealers exploit the market to expose users to their crap. The law enforcement and prison special interest groups are practically the only ones that speak out against regulation of the marijuana of any sort. Their greatest fear is that regulation might work.

  • say it again brother, legalize it, regulate it and tax it.

  • Legalize it! Regulate it!
