Please, please, please NEVER stop this from playing on YOU TUBE!!! This is so great, I just marvel at all of it...the voice, the figure, the set, the sexiness, the absolute wonderness of it all. We will never again see anything like this again (my humble opnion)....Somehow, the stark, naked sets I see now, just don't have "IT"!!! NO, the GLAMOR is missing...and dear ANNA was the most glamorous, as well as the most beautiful. We'll never see it again. BRAVA, dear ANNA! BRAVA!!!!

Oh, how I adored Moffo. Her early death (and quite tragic life experiences) broke my heart, but she was entrancing and incredibly beautiful. What a sexy and stylish romp this is. Viva Moffo!

I could do without the unnecessary sopracuto at the end, but here is Anna sounding and looking enchanting, in what is, to me, the most haunting of all operetta arias (Lehar would hate me for calling Giuditta an operetta, I know!). The aria itself is so nostalgic, and watching Anna in her prime is a heartbreaking bit of nostalgia itself.

I've only heard it on tape before, it was great fun to see this primadonna peform it live even though German tv always let the artists lipsync instead of singing live:-/
Moffo is the only singer I've ever heard singing the final note in this aria one octave higher than the previous, already high, note.
