Shields, really a 170-pounder, is now the Strikeforce middleweight champ after being Jason "Mayhem" Miller. He calls out Cung Le during the postfight presser in Chicago. Why did Cung dump the belt and return on Dec. 19.

Watch the fight again or look at the photos of Miller's choke attempt. Miller has his hands clasped on the side of head not behind it.

The arms are across Shields chin, looks like it hurts, but not likley to finish Shields.

The hands not being behind the head means no pressure. The reason Shields could "relax and wait " when he heard 9 seconds. And also why he could jump up when the bell rang.

The UFC doesn't own MMA dude. These are just companies that are coming up. I, as an MMA fan love the fact that there's other places to watch MMA.

mr 1turdfull--I stand by what I said, look at the evidence. Add the fact that 4-5 seconds without blood to the brain and you are out cold, 2-3 seconds you are groggy and need help getting up.

Ask someone you know that is a purple belt or above to look at the photos. There is a reason grapplers saw this so different than casual fans.

It did look deep when the camera angle was from the back, check top & front.
