she played a tomboi basically. not a stud really which is good. i dont think the word could work a hard core dyke. dominant persona, timberland, wifebetter, braided educated strong women could have been interesting. Max was transgender..so that doesnt count really. she actually wanted to be a boy which she needed to show on the outside to match her feelings
