no it looks like it's better quality because they filmed all of this b roll with a DSLR, which sports a big sensor and shallow depth of field which looks better. And yes, they do have to zoom which is right, but its not that it's not focused, it's that the more the difference between a lens' widest view and its closest view, the less sharp it is.

Its better quality because they have to zoom, which doesn't focus all the way, and its moving all the time, which sometimes might be too fast even on a motion capture camera
