Nifty jello~

You'll need:
3 cups water
2 sticks agar-agar
fruit like peaches if you're smart :]

How to:
Boil the water and break up the agar-agar into little pieces. When the water boils, add the agar and stir until it all dissolves. But before this you should line your molds with plastic wrap. Take the Agar off the heat and let it cool a little bit (so it won't melt the plastic wrap). Then pour it into the molds and add your fruit. Let cool more because the jelly will set at room temperature. When it sets, cool in the fridge before serving~

I like agar-agar better than gelatin. It doesn't smell icky like gelatin and looks awesome and crystally :]

  • I've heard about that, but never tried it. I think after so much of this stuff you'd get tired of it like any food :B

  • I made some coffee flavoured ones a while ago, except I just poured it into a baking tray and when it solidified I sliced them into squares! :D

  • That's how a few other recipes said how to do it, but whenever there's cutting of jelly involved I somehow mess it up hardcore. It's always a disaster; broken cubes everywhere @__@

  • Hello! I want to know if this jelly o jam can stay out of the fridge or should always been in the refrigerator? one occasion I saw this jelly placed on a chocolate bon bon, but i dont know if it melts if stay out of the refrigerator. Thanks!

  • haha..in malysia we call it agar agar!! i always make bandung agar agar...put some rose syrup,pandan leaves,agar agar,water,sugar and concetrated milk.. DOne!!
