This video was developed behind a 1987 incident involving LAPD Harbor Division and LASD Carson Station. The video illustrates to LAPD officers how to identifiy a uniformed LASD deputy sheriff.

To Bachatchalol, LAPD doesn't NEED to wear patches on their uniforms because everybody knows who they are, as good or bad cops, the rest of the police departments need a patch to be recognized since they are not famous and not known by the whole world. Hard to trust some guy claiming to be a sheriff wearing blue jeans, a green polo shirt with wording you can barely read because they are so faded, and wearing an unmarked police car that looks like a bandit taxi. LAPD is more professional.

Bluesuit5... No it isn't. In fact, both LAPD officers and the Sergeant, were suspended, without pay, over this incident.
