Eileen Nearne, MBE (c. 1921-2010) was a member of the UK's Special Operations Executive (SOE) during World War II. She served in occupied France as a radio operator under the codename 'Rose'. After the war she lived in London with her sister Jacqueline. Later she moved to Torquay and lived there quietly until her death.
RIP...what a fantastic contribution she made to the war effort.

Thanks for posting this. If you have more/longer video you can post I'd sure appreciate it. I want to post Eileen's story on my blog, but would prefer a longer piece covering her life, death, and memorial. She should be remembered by all. Her bravery made a difference to this world we live in.
Thanks again,
