two old fruits...good interview..
i saw this tour three times..it was great...elton included the king must die..best version i ever heard..after one of the shows we partied with the band at harry's bar at the helmsley palace hotel in manhattan...that was a great night...whole band was there sans elton...

Good point Lurker; I have forwarded it to Sir Dwight but fear that he always believed in Sacrifice more (commercially rightly) and mentions to me every time that it was he who insisted on a DOUBLE A side for the rerelease and that Sacrifice was the bigger by far!

Actually he's always seemed fine with me - even when he was in a darkened suite in the Kahala Hilton in Hawaii because he didn't like the sun (so why go there for a holiday?) he was the same old Elton with me. Perhaps I just don't notice these things.

Both Sacrifice and Healing Hands had videos but, since they flopped on first release, they may have made fresh ones after we mnaged to get them re-released and re-promoted. Elton still insists that, whilst it WAS my idea to re-release them, since my favourite was Healing Hands and his was Sacrifice, HE deserves some credit (which I grudgingly give him).
