A tour of the Camden County Historical Society complex in Camden, New Jersey. A treasure house of the local history of the lower Delaware Valley, the Society has a museum, library and a restored 18th-century mansion.

  • dammmmm yooo i lived in camden since the day i was born i see this place every day i never new what is was holy shit!!!!!

  • Camden sure has see better days!

  • More about the history and current activities of the Society can be found on its web site. Google Camden County Historical Society.

  • The Camden County Historical Society was been in operation since 1899 and, since that time, has been funded by public contributions, membership fees, the New Jersey State Historical Commission, the County Freeholders, ticket sales to its various events and other sources. It has a very slim budget and is always scrounging to make ends meet.

  • Where in the world does this place get the money to stay open?

I am going to do some investigating.
