@DixieKorley I agree with your observation. The surounding is very important. I lived in far part of Russia for 30 years and started writing only after I moved to comfortable and cozy Singapore! It also depends on the character. Some people prefer to write on the battle field )

This author lives in the perfect area for coming up with a novel. I thought that I didn't as a child, but then I went on a little trip and realized I've been blind lol. I live in Newark, NJ and each time I walk around my mind is now filled with alot of ideas

But it has a "special power", nobody knows about it, his worst enemy knows where it is, but doesn't know what's so special about it, and slowly, you began to realize what it does because of writing, little points, those things.
