It's really simple people, the series go in reverse. So for the actual chronological order, watch -2, -1 and then this one. It's obvious that the bugs are in control of humanity, at least in the city where our toast boy lives, and a flashback in -2 implied a possible better past. I don't know if it's a metaphor, and I don't really care because I enjoy it either way.

@master87000 I am not denouncing your opinion of this video in anyway, but what if, possibly, David Firth wanted to just create a very disturbing and strange video, and it has little to no meaning in it? Just a thought. I love it though, stroke of disturbing genius! :D
