how do i access the philips system assistant?

This is NO substitute for a calibration DVD used to properly set the five basic(Brightness, Contrast, Sharp, Color, Hue) controls, and do further advanced grayscale if necessary.

As explained in the video, users will typically choose what THEY think looks good to them, instead of what is ACCURATE and will pass video material unaltered.
