PBFS with Gabriel Butterfield and Sallie Squitieri

The Paul Butterfield Fund and Society was formed by Sallie Squitieri and Gabriel Butterfield, the son of legendary blues harp player Paul Butterfield.

This interview was filmed on the compound of Albert Grossman's Bearsville Records in Woodstock New York. Grossman was Butterfield's manager, as well as manager of Bob Dylan, The Band and Janis Joplin.

Together with Thom Pollard of Eyes Open Productions Gabriel and Salli are producing a biographical documentary about the life of Paul Butterfield.

This first day of 2008 I wake with the memory of the dream I had of my father last night,feeling his presence. I looked at the symbolism of the parts of the dream...I am misty eyed typing this to you Salli and Gabe.
