Bosses, friends and family members were "Arrested" on Friday, June 17th in support of the Northumberland United Way
Uniformed officers arrested the culprits for $20 and those arrested had to raise a minimum of $50 bail money to be released.
Bud Lauria from Lauria Hyundai was the first person of the day to be arrested. Northumberland Hills Hospital CEO Robert Biron was also taken into custody. A raid was conducted at the Cobourg Rotary meeting with several culprits taken into custody, including United Way Executive Director Lynda Kay.
"Judge" Rene Roberge was on hand to pass down sentences against the accused amd gave them the opportunity to plead their case.
