@EDDIEinWAR Yes! Take a look at some of the classic commercials she did in the 80's after she won the gold medal. She was known for her smile. She basically came out of nowhere. American women hadn't done anything special in Olympic gymnastics since the 50's. Then there's this cute 16 year old girl who is just there having the time of her life getting perfect scores - her excitement was genuine and really special at the time. Since then, every female gymnast in America has tried to be her.
