we need to stop trying to be right and spend time with the Father so we can fall in love with Him. the 1st century church weren't willing to die for Jesus because they had neat doctrine but because they loved Him. Jesus died for us because He loves us and He is our example for everything. SPEND TIME WITH GOD BELOVED you will accomplish more doing that than anything else you can do. Remeber martha was doing but Mary was hanging out with Jesus and He said she chose the better thing.....

have a real living tangible relationship with the Father...Jesus said "this is eternal life that they might KNOW you Father and Jesus Christ who you have sent" God is a Father and He loves us so much He want to spend time with us...that word Know isn't static knowledge about God but actually expeirencing Him. If we start spending time with the Father more and more He changes us and Jesus actually starts living through us people start that and it opens the door for our words.

Paul says to be "living epistles known and read by all" Our problem in america is that our heads are filled with head knowledge of the bible but we don't have real relationship with Him Jesus said " you diligently study scripture thinking that buy them you possess eternal life, these are the scriptures that testify about me yet you refuse to come to me to have life" we know to much ABOUT Jesus but don't know Him enough. Jesus didn't die on the cross for us to know about Him but so that we could

This word that Graham is teaching is specific to our times especially in america...we have been great at "preaching the Gospel" but not good at living it. The people said that Jesus "taught as one who has authority and NOT as the teachers of the law" the teachers of the law taught alot of correct things but they didn't live them that is why they had no real authority Jesus lived what he taught so the people saw a living, walking, breathing example of what He said.

He is saying that the Gospel, the Word of God lives in us and people are attracted to the spirit of God by the love we show. Just like when Christ said "the world will know you are my disciples by your love for each other."

Please never again compare Graham Cooke to Joel Osteen, Joel says be a Christian so God will make you GREAT financially.
