I attended his concert in 1998. There were hardly around 14 people in the audience that night, but it was one of those live experiences I'll dearly remember for some strange reason. It's interesting that this video captures layers of sound put into that microphone. Boyd plays it pretty loud to be sure, always in more-less the same manner, meaning his noise can captivate you physically - which is a bit of a high risk due to the amount of decibels delivered into the ear.

This is GREAT. Boyd is such an interesting musician. What he creates is nothing like i have heard before. It shure would be nice to meet him in person.

Eu estive neste concerto, mas sinceramente para quem nao foi, nao perderam grande coisa, mas houve momentos interessantes, como TOTAL WAR, mas no geral RICE nao estava nos seus dias, mt tb por culpa de certas substâncias ilícitas de cor branca, que la ele ia dando uso ao faro lol. Mas no geral foi razoável.

Caramba, muito bom isso! Do pouco que conheço dele, trabalho muito antigo do fim dos 70s/início de 80, totalmente diferente - uma boa surpresa. Uma espécie de Zoviet France, só que mais intenso. Pena que esse tipo de coisa nunca aporta em território brasileiro.
