Blackbird Raum - Honey In The Hair from the album Swidden
Lyrics:

I fill my mouth up in the air,

Honey in the hair x3

I fill my life up with time, asleep in the vine,

Whiskey and wine x2

Who makes the wind blow, I don't care, my eyes roll back in my head x2

I'm just walking in circles i see the lines in chalk on the ground x2

I fill my mouth up in the air,

Honey in the hair x3

I fill my life up with time, asleep in the vine,

Whiskey and wine x2

Who makes the wind blow, I don't care, my eyes roll back in my head x2

I'm just walking in circles i see the lines in chalk on the ground x2

One day this will all come down

Oneday this will all come crashing right down

So go on with your life we will bring you down

One day this will all come down

Oneday this will all come crashing right down

So go on with your life we will bring you down!!!

  • @MrFishsleeptoo my mind is BLOWN.

i've had this lovely instrument for years and have been ignorant of it's capabilities.

thank you for solving this mystery. i'm going to the shed.

  • @TheLynchtOwls It's a saw. Yup, the thing you cut wood with. You play the smooth edge with a violin bow and bend the saw blade to get different pitches.

  • what is that lovely, eerie high pitched wavering instrument??

i fell in love with a sound i'm unsure of how to recreate!

    it's like a phantom whistling it's sorrow.

  • were gyipos

  • @BrentleChaos Was it around May? Could it have been Drunk Armstrong?

  • @Quinnzical exactly right

  • This is the kind of song you can listen to over and over again and never tire of it.

  • @whitewiddoww That's the coolest thing anyone could ever get arrested for.

  • My friend and I danced in a circle in front of them once in Santa Cruz..

    then we bought CD's.

  • This song makes me want to pour beer all over everything
