Let's Play Nier 04 - Grimoire Weiss & Hansel and Gretel

Now things are getting exciting! We reach the top of the Lost Shrine and find Yonah behind a magical barrier guarded by two intimidating suits of armor. After beating up Grimoire Weiss, who is standing in our path (we do this to pretty much anything that stands in our path if we can help it), he gives us his big spiel on how powerful and almighty he is, then promptly forgets all his powers due to the brain damage our pummeling induced. Luckily, his dry wit still remains intact, and shall continue to remain intact for the rest of the game, so he has that going for him. Shortly after, the suits of armor which contained him spring to life and become the first boss fight of the game: Hansel and Gretel (All the bosses in this game are named after fairy tales, primarily German ones, just a heads-up)! This is pretty much the mood-setter for how awesome the bosses in this game are, and they're only going to get more awesome from here!

Is there somewhere in-game which mentions the boss names, as so far I haven't found any sources.

@HKtraidon If I didn't know any better, I'd say that was Liam O'Brien, who also voices the protagonist.

I've had this game sitting on my shelf for almost 6 month and it hadn't been touched. Then I started watching this LP and it looked fun, so I decided to give it a shot. Best decision I ever made, this is such a good game, it's a lot of fun.
