@crazydaysful I think she's the best and i'm black. And i've seen all those other black dancers like Bill Robinson and the Nicholas Brothers and i think they are fantastic tap dancers. And you can like whoever you want no matter what colour they are........

I think Eleanor Powell, who fought so much for equality, and was a truly good lady, would hate to see the arguments going on here about white and black tap dancers. Personally I think Ellie is the best, but not because of skin color. I wish people could just look at her talent and take it for what it is, TRUE talent, without adding unneeded comments about skin color.

@crazydaysful It is regrettable, but so many Blacks are in prison for their bad behavior. They can't lift their people up from there. Of the Black kids I went to school with in the 60's, most are already dead. I'm 61 and no longer tapping with my beautuiful "harem" of hot ladies; but I'm a long way from dead. Whites, except for a few true racists, are not the enemies of the Blacks. It is dope and crime. Remember the opening scene in "Tap", with Greg Hines in a jail cell?

But Prof. Walter Williams, a Black economist, says he's happy his people were chosen as slaves. Otherwise he'd be in Africa, getting eaten by lions! I don't know if he can tap; but he can sure entertain with his thoughts on the radio. Rush is much better when Williams subs for him.
