The song is "Little life" from Mark Hildreth's album "A complex state of attachment". The images are from his interpretation in the movie "Eighteen". Both masterpieces are so moving and fit so well together... I couldn't help it.
My opinion is more incisive: what do soldiers die for? An idea, a religion, a nation? Is it really worth it? Of course we all have to defend ourselves, but picturing two enemy soldiers, forced to shoot on each other... no matter why they're here... it is against nature, against common sense... it is just insane. When picturing two enemy kids fighting for their own life, there is no good and bad guy, no good and bad nation, there are only victims, who have to lose their soul to survive...
as I said on the fan page. They DO go well together.
Makes you wonder...
so many people die for our freedom and for our peace. I sometimes wonder. If they called me to account and asked me how I lived my life today, this week, this year...could I look them in the eyes?
