I played this for my spring semester jury. It was a fun little challenge. :)))) I absolutely love playing it now. There are a few spots in there that are just down right tricky, but for the most part it's pretty easy to grasp and perform.

My goodness this seems hard-pressed to me. I've always heard a kind of "haunting charm" to this piece but I don't hear much of that here. I don't have the score so I can't judge whether the extreme staccato bass line is indicated or not. If it is, I'm surprised. Seems to me this piece should flow rather than hop.

@AndThePizza just played this at my junior recital last week. Its a fun piece, very tricky in spots, but if you take it slow you should be fine. My motto has always been "If you can't play it slow you'll never play it fast enough."

My piano professor just gave me this piece to look at for the summer. =) very excited to play it.
