[arbo]sonic is the family name and brand for our modified tonewood. This is NO tropical wood ! It's based on selected local wood, which is artificially "aged" using special technology. The wood, modified in this manner, acquires outstanding acoustic qualities and has a great appearance. It is very light in weight and highly resistant to moisture and climate changes. There are different types for different purposes. It can be used e.g. for wind instruments (bassoon Gebr. Mönnig - 214 diamant "Del SOL") and other musical instruments.
