Concrete Angel - Martina McBride

I've been doin personal videos for the past few months and for my special day, I thought of making a very meaningful video that will make people aware that child abuse is still a large problem in our society.... and the only way to stop abuse is to talk about it.


"Concrete Angel" is a song performed by Martina McBride and co-produced by McBride and Paul Worley. Composed by Rob Crosby, the song was released in 2003, featured on McBride's 2001 Greatest Hits album. The song went on to reach #5 on the country music charts.

The music video tells a story about a little girl (named Angela Carter in the music video) who's trying to deal with abuse from her alcoholic mother. Some people, including the girl's teacher, seem to notice signs of abuse, but just try to ignore it. Ultimately, the little girl is killed when her mother beats her to death in a drunken rage.

There's some kids at my church who we think r abused they show up every service late and hungry and with cuts and bruises all over their bodies I feel bad but idk if their really abused or if its just because they live in a trailer park and they grew up tough
