the controls are hard on the dreamcast version how did you manage perfect?

You have to use the controller since the Maracca sensor isn't accurate enough to do them that fast. I change the controller so the left three are up/left/down on the d-pad and the right three are Y/B/A. Then I stare at the dead center to see where they are going and push the buttons to the rhythm. Pretty easy actually ;)

The maracas sensor isn't fast enough to accept input in super hard mode so it's impossible.
