In my new book, one of the characters has this dream of walking the red carpet. This week, while I was at the Berlin Film Festival, a friend of mine asked for the same experience and I managed to put a hidden camera in the carpet. So join me in this experience.

My you braved that very well, Mr. Coelho! It was like watching the monkeys in a zoo at feeding time. But you were not the monkey, other way around is what I mean. It dazzels me, leaves me stunned to know that there are people who want to be a part of that. That this circus somehow makes them feel valued, adored and needed? Very sad indeed. I love your sense of humor in all this madness....

The book was great! It prompted me to think about the price others pay for my entertainment (especially women) in the US; for example: botox, anorexia and surgical implants (not being good enough, the way you are). To want fame at any price, allowing oneself to be treated as a money-making commodity rather than a precious person with a gift, with thoughts and feelings. Thank you Paulo...suggest reading for anyone thinking about 'show-biz'.

But it doesnt change nothing, he still a great best-seller writer and first of all he has a past and his past is full of many mistakes. If you have opportunity to ask him who was RAUL SEIXAS in his life you can understand him better. luv Mr. Coelho!!!

When I started to read the book "and the winner stands alone" two people come into my mind Michael Jackson and Britney Spears , and many others. So much fame at the same time they are very lonely people. Everthing has a price. I like his point of view

What an interesting thing to do. The utter maddness and sillyness of it all. Who in the world would WANT to be a part of this? I'm astounded over and over again that there are so many people who want to work as photographers in a scene like this and that there are people who actually enjoy being photographed like an animal. There should be a green carpet invented for all the individuals who just want to walk in the darn door like a "normal" human being.
