There's also a gold mouse in the library. Catch it before you defeat the ghost though, b/c it only appears in the dark. Take the gameboy horror, and analyze the piece of cheese behind the desk. A mouse will pop out, and you'll have a few seconds to catch it. It's worth a ton of money.

Also *spoilers*...

when the power goes off later in the game, I think you can go back and catch all the gold mice and speedy ghosts you missed, as the rooms will be dark again. :)
