I was trying to translate the song "where do you go to my lovely" into Spanish and was having problems with both cultural and time era references so I decided to rewrite it. The final product is this, it's obviously inspired by "where do you go...," but it it's definitely not the same song. This song has influences of traditional Mexican Songs of "Desprecio" and "Despecho," the sort of song you would expect from Vicente Fernandez or Jose Alfredo Jimenez; it also has contemporary cultural references that the intended audience should understand. Again the signing and the guitar playing are mediocre at best, but your not paying for it, so don't complain.

Estaba trantando de traducer la canicon "where do you go to my lovely" al Espanol, pero tuve problemas porque la cancion tiene referencias culturales que pierden el sentido al traducirlas; por eso decided escribir una cancion inspirada por esa en vez de solo traduciarla.
