This is a new method for me this winter, I hear that it really lets the moisture flow out of the hive. I put is on a little early but we had snow in Oct. It's been unseasonably warm lately but I'm glad I have it on because the nights are cold. They are ready for winter and I'll check on the hives once in a while by listening to them and watching their entrances for activity.

  • @TheJoyman88 they don't sweat :P

they heat air - moisture - condensation - water ..

  • tnx for video, very good advices, respect! :)

  • Excellent video. I didn't know that bees sweat, but it makes sense with all the work that they do. Looking forward to more Bee Movies (not a comment on the quality of the movie).

  • Great vids!

What is used in the winter cover box construction?

  • please give them a heating blanket? Or a little nip. Your breaking my heart.

I just see the Honey Nut Cheerio bee freezing his butt off... :(
