This is a video project I did for our Vietnam unit in high school. It was filmed in 2005 and is based off the POW experience of James Stockdale, with a lot of other quotes from real POWs written into the script.
While I admire the intent, the execution is poor. Campy, overdone, emotionless acting. The narration droned and was ineffective. There's a number 1 rule to remember: Show, don't tell. Also to dilute the brutal beatings suffered by real POWs into a belting was almost obscene. And if you intended to make the belting brutal, the makeup definitely wasn't enough - have you ever seen the results of a belt whipping? It isn't a couple scratches.
More better acting, more realism, less narration = better
fuck yall this is awesome. MikeColone you dumbass they can't make it like the real thing. They are in highschool retard.

Wow, this POW camp is like the Hilton! If I was a POW I wish I was treated like that.
