starmaster191, the reason they looked like complete dumbasses is because they were just that. The "documentary" didn't tell the half of it. The Kims ignored four separate warning signs, a verbal warning at a tourist information center, a warning on the highway map, and the weather. She lied about being asleep, and about what happened when they reached the fork in the road. Too bad the fella died, but if Kati Kim is looking for someone to blame she should step in front of a mirror.

Kati Kim's story is full of holes. She and her husband took that route on purpose. They selfishly endangered themselves and their young kidds, and then she tried to cash in on his death. The idiots never should have been there to begin with. They ignored half a dozen warnings, and then she lied to investigators and the gullible TV crew that produced the shoddy "documentary" tear-jerker. People need to take responsibility for their own mistakes, starting with her.

Also just watched it on animal planet. In my opinion the way they portrayed him and his wife on the reenactment made them look like complete dumbasses. The way Kim kept talking made her see like she was dumb and stupid.

Just saw the kims story on animal planet! Such tragedy for the family! Im a father of three girls and just the feeling of not being there for my girls just kills me! James did he's best heroic effort to rescue his family and for that, in my book he will always be a hero...rest in peace +James Kim+

@Joe90289 Hey everyone don't worry about Joe. Hey Joe, I have a really good suggestion for you. Well here it is :) Have you ever fired a gun before? If you have, I highly suggest you buy a .50 cal.. Then all you have to do is point it at your head, preferably up into your neck - then pull the trigger :)
