Riding the very nice elevators at the Stephen F. Austin Intercontinental Hotel.

  • The door hold button allows people with freight to keep the doors open, and I too love traction elevators, since they're energy efficient, have a smooth fast ride, are environmentally friendly with little or no oil, and are very reliable with minimal maintenance.

  • Yes, these are called the Fanfare series signal fixtures, which have a really art deco touch to them.

  • Actually, I saw the Montgomery Kone sign at the bottom part of the car station. But the old elevators might have been Haughton or Otis.
