nice! does it handle self collision? what is integration method you use?
-
you like that cow, don't you?
-
what did you make this in, if its blender, please make a tutorial.
-
We can clothe this cow. We have the technology.
-
It looks like the cow farted into the cloth
-
very cool

That is so cool, man! much more realistic than your water collision detection, I would so love to tinker around with this :-P
-
ok :)
but no matter what you say about fps one can not prove it's realtime by showing a video.U know what i mean? Obviously mouse cursor can not be considered as a prove lol
-
Omg thats amazing for realtime.
-
If only you had air resistance then whenever you would move the cloth away it would move realistically. DX
Do you have an obsession with cows^^.
do you think that it would be used in PC game so way, in realtime, in near future? If so, Iˇm looking forward...let me know, if you produce more videos, great work :-O

I showed this video to some games and physics middleware companies a few years ago. They were impressed but not enough to buy the tech. I know some of them are coming out with cloth simulation in the near future. So yes, we should see this quality simulations in game soon. If not, contact me! :)

Thanks for your kind and funny comments. This was made a few years ago with a home brewed physics engine. I had a decent CPU and graphics card (kind of crappy by today's standards :)). Since I have not seen anything like this in games even now, I thought I'd post it here and ask you all if tech has any merit. Regards.

lol nice
but how can u prove that its real time?
i think its simple rendering in 3d max\maya or whatever

It is all realtime (I believe shown simulation is locked at 60fps but it runs much faster). I will take your comments as a compliment. :)
