  • Bill was hit in the head with a baseball when he was a child. The doctors said it could have been that which caused the aneurysm. Or he could have been born with it. No one quite knows for sure.

  • This is absolutely one of my top five favorite videos on all of YouTube!

Happy Birthday (July 31) to Bill Berry!

  • Would the Beatles have been the Beatles without Ringo? They could have produced the same music, but the vibe and spirit of the band would have been very different.

  • The king of drumming

  • NOW THIS IS PUNK!!!!!!!!!!

  • I think I read somewhere that aneurysms are rare but that some people are genetically predisposed to have them. When he had surgery, they found two. Or maybe that's just the long-term effects of the stress of his job on his cardio-vascular system.

He might be taking a huge risk each time he plays. But having decided to take that risk, it's fabulous to see see and hear him behind the kit. Miss seeing (hearing) them all together...

  • I agree... Please respect Bill Berry's wishes.

Dude.. the guy almost died.. Do you want that on your conscious?

He'll come back if he wants to come back... otherwise, let him enjoy his farm, and his golf game.

  • Had never seen REM live before. I got free tickets to that show from a friend at the last minute. I was blown away at how good they were live and become a convert. It was a great show.
