@CorrosionX3 Quran is not designed for arabic speaking people to read and understand even till today its not recommended to have a read it in plain translation there is always explanations to a certain surah.

I will recommend of book before you go any further read Dr Maurice Baucailles book "The Bible, The Quraan and the Science"
