I agree with tehteha- fitting music, and even though the camera quality wasn't great it added a kind of "fog of war" effect to the battle.
-
love the music, really fits the armies
-
@wydog286 yeah, they are not stubborn withhout the slaan right?
-
*optimum.
Don't go for ranks unless you've got cheap less powerful cavalry - like Empire, or obviously, if you're in lance formation.
-
First of let me say nice batrep guys
Yeah - you need to check the rules on psych for quite a few of thee batreps.
Apart from that the rules were alright and it's a fun game. Don't really like the houserule but again - it's a fun game and more bloodshed wins the day...
Take decent heavy cavalry size 7 max crazedmongoose - or 6 plus character. 7 wide is potimum becuase that's the max you're going to get in combat with a fully ranked up block of infantry,
-
with VC u should just make sure ur general doesn´t get hurd.
and just raise lots and lots of stuff:P

yes, 8+char is definetly overkill.
they honestly cost way to many points to be in that large of a unit and stupidity could make your 'eggs in one basket' unit completely usless for a turn, and nobody wants that.
dont get skink braves in those units of skinks, cut em down to 10 too..
have fun with lizzies.

I'm just starting to play fantasy, and I always wondered, what's the optimal unit for heavy cavalry?
In my 2000 pt VC army (still building, haven't played yet) I field one unit of 8 and one unit of 5 black knights. Attached to the 8 is a decent mounted combat vampire.
My main strategy I guess is big blocks of infantry holding with powerful mobile flankers doing most of the damage. Hence taking that many heavy cav. But looking at everybody else using 5 heavy cav, is 8+char overkill?

cold one cavalry too big..
should never take temple guard without slann..
next time step it up son!

wow these vids are so awsum, only thing is u guys got sum rules wrong or maybe u posted text wrong but, the stego causes terror and teh dark elf cold ones cause fear so teh cold ones take fear not terror and on a failed result need 6's to hit the enemy they dont run
