I own a 98 ls1 z28 and the only track I've been to is in vegas and my car has lid,filter,exhaust,tune and 315/35/17 nitto 555r tires and the best I did as a 6-speed was 13.949 @ 103 mph now it has a lvl 3 4l60e with stock 1900 stall and does 14.2 @ 98 mph but have been told the track in surprise (pheonix) id be .6-.7 faster so bout 13.5

@bullheadmikec421 Yeah man exactly! This was just a base run my 60 foot sucked but this video is to show what a bone stock car, and i consider myself a good driver.

@BlackLS1TA Thanks man! I was happy with it, If i had a better tire and removed front sway bar, took the spare tire and jack out and got a better 60 i know it had low 13's in it. I actually sold that car about 2 months ago, i beat myself up about it, it had 140,000 miles, that was its first trip at the track

@plane45036 Good run, my automatic ran 13.62 at 101 with just a 3.42 gear and lid. A bone stock auto with a 2.73 would be about 13.8-13.9 (unless you have a factory freak) you car has alot of potential though if you cut down on the 60 ft times.

@slayerdearly 1999 i dont have a ls6 intake from 01-02...ehh drag racing yes auto is better but with a good driver it doesnt matter. 6 speed just needs better suspension...

@slayerdearly autos will vary some mid to low 13's some high 13's. but will not be as fast at the end of the track..6 speed has way more top end and mid range..auto has a advantage on the launch

@plane45036 ah yeah 13.6 is about what an M6 SS should run(if was a z28 it's 13.8 Ive seen)but these readings are according to wikipedia so i'm guessing if it was an auto it would be like a 13.7 yes?
