The second and last form of Miktran.

This is possibly the hardest final boss in the Tales of series (Although I still haven't finished a few of them).
This definitly isn't my first attempt. :P

It was a struggle to stay alive at some points, but it was an awesome battle.

  • if this is your first play through then the highest difficulty is hard mode not evil

  • That is, unless you unlocked Evil and Chaos via a web-password.

  • Would you say harder than Legendia's final boss? Because that one's giving me a lot of trouble and I'd love to know which is more challenging.

  • Yeah, I'd say so.

Legendia's final boss was pretty tough (although I had a harder time with Dark Senel and Shirley), but for me this one is the harder one.

Miktran can beam to anywhere in a instant, and has that beam attack that reaches all the way across the battle field (making it very hard to cast in this fight), and I got killed several time due to the attack he has that confuses anyone near him, then later on he can spam Stop Flow on you.

  • Miktran is deffinetly the hardest final boss in the tales series but its rather sad he didn't appear in other media. Its all Dhaos and Barbatos today.

  • Ouch! I only beat the Dark Twins because I was able to trap Shirley in a corner and spam Sword Rain: Omega to keep her from casting spells (I stopped running after Dark Senel if he headed for the mages in back...figured that as long as I could use them to toss items if they couldn't cast spells and keep up Chloe's relentless attack).

Man...I'm happy the bosses here are a lot tougher than in the original but I swear Namco is getting more sadistic the later in the gaming world they go.
