I did this video while I had no voice, but my friend Sara had agreed to do some dubbing for me. Nightshade wanted a set of dreds of her own, and also agreed to be the model for installing them.

If you dont like dredlocks or the style in which I am demonstrating, please keep your comments to yourself.

This video was produced for those crafty people out there who want to do their own thing.

Please note, the bells, beads and shells you saw in Nightshade's hair were also added in by stringing them on hemp yarn and braiding them in with a small loop at the top of the strands. She was going out on the town, so I figured what more fun would it be than to have hair that showed up under blacklights...or at least the beads.

  • @lilogrove Glad you enjoyed my videos. Its an on again/off again ailment due to allergies I'm trying to conquer...for the longest time i thought it was cause I kept getting colds, which isn't the case according to an allergy specialist and an ENT doc. They still havent figured out what Im specifically allergic to. Keep an eye open here cause more videos are comming soon :-)

  • what bands did you suggest i find the small black coloured ones break very easily aswell :0)

  • @nikkipurple1

It depends on the quality of the elastics you use. Keep in mind, I found that if they've been sitting on the shelf too long, they tend to break. I used the non ouchless itsy bitsy rubber bands. Get the ones that are not a shiny rubber. I find those ones will slip off the braid a bit too easily too. Its like the regular elastics you would find in the office, just smaller

  • Cool to see the final video. I miss Nightshade already :(

  • That makes both of us. She will be back tho.
